Tension-Type Headache occurs with a mild pain that feels like a tight band around the head. It is also known as “stress headache”. Tension-Type is a very common type of headache among adults, however, the causes are yet to be understood.

There are two types of Tension-Type Headache namely:

  • Episodic tension headache which occurs less than 15 days in a month.
  • Chronic tension headache which occurs more than 15 days in a month.

Symptoms of Tension-Type Headache include:

  • Mild to moderate pain
  • Extreme tiredness
  • Loss of sleep
  • Mild light and noise sensitivity.
  • Eye strain
  • Muscle aches
