Fever is the most common symptom reported in hospitals and homes. It can be caused by many factors such as a change in temperature, wind, rain, or humidity. Fever may play a key role in helping your body fight off a number of infections and can also be a sign of a serious illness.

In general, having a fever is a sign that something in the body is not normal. However, you can manage it by following these tips:

  • Get some rest. Being active makes your body heat rise, help your body recover by taking it easy until your fever comes down.

  • Stay hydrated. Drink water, juice, or electrolyte-containing fluids.

According to Kathleen Dass,MD,running a fever can draw water & electrolytes out of your body as sweat. Also, you may be breathing faster which leads to more moisture release. Dehydration can make the fever worse with dizziness, fatigue, & confusion.

  • Ensure that the person with a fever is appropriately dressed. Lightweightclothes will help to reduce a fever rather than wearing multiple clothing items. If he or she is having chills, try using a light blanket.

  • Eat healthy foods. The body needs as manynutrients as it can get during fever because the healthier you are when you are feverish, the faster you’ll get over it.

  • Take your fever medication with seriousness, many over-the-counter drugs can be used. Consult an approved pharmacy for fever reducers & remember to take the right dose as instructed.Whenever you feel feverish & unable to function, take Forpain for swift relief.
